Given this setting, one would think we were in the middle of the
vast unspoiled plains of old. The truth is, I took care not to reveal
a pile of discarded mattresses and a dishwasher just in front
of the tree below a small rise. If I had chosen to use a
graduated filter, some of the truth may have exposed
itself. Such a spectacular supercell helped turn my
attention back to the sky.
